Aling Lucing's Sisig

Kapampangans are known for their great love for food, and that’s because you can also find the best cooks and chefs in the province. Dubbed as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, several Filipino dishes loved by many have originated in Pampanga.

In fact, the local government of Angeles City has proclaimed “Sizzling Sisig” as an “Intangible Cultural Heritage” in 2017. Ordinance No. 405, Series of 2017 consists of policies and programs that aim to preserve the original recipe and preparation of the well-loved Kapampangan dish. An annual Sisig Festival is also being held in Angeles every April.

This restaurant serves “Lutong Kapampangan” and sisig is one of the house favorites. It’s widely known for its sisig camaru (crickets), an exotic Kapampangan dish.

Last but definitely not the least. Mila’s is one of the best eateries located in Angeles City. It’s originally famous for its tokwa’t baboy but also became one of the most preferred sisig restaurants in the province later on.
