Culture and tradition can go hand in hand with modernization and development.
This is what Juan D. Nepomuceno Sons, Inc. (JDN) ensures as they venture to new heights within the heart of Angeles City. JDN is the developer of the township Nepo Center, a homegrown chain of retail spaces in Pampanga’s only highly urbanized city.
To further this advocacy, JDN will be staging a two-day “party with a purpose” at The Park in Nepo Center, the future site of the Rockwell Nepo’s Power Plant Mall Angeles. The event, dubbed as Nepo Music Fiestaval, will happen on October 14 and 15, 2023.
“While all of these are happening, we’re also contributing in the preservation of the city’s heritage,”
says Rick N. Wilkerson, President and CEO of JDN Realty Group.
The concert, which coincides with the city’s La Naval Fiesta, will feature Adie, Al James, Kiyo, Sunkissed Lola, The Juans, DJ Ron Poe and MC Boo on Day One, and Ebe Dancel, Mayonnaise, Spongecola, Aia De Leon, Barbie Almalbis, and DJ Marc Marasigan on Day Two.
“This two-day event is for the young ones, and the young ‘once’,” says Chito Gomez, Head of Marketing of the JDN Realty Group.
All proceeds of the music fiestaval will be donated to restore the Holy Rosary Parish Church, which was damaged by the April 2019 earthquake.
Aside from helping with the rehabilitation efforts of the Pisamban Maragul, JDN also aims to incorporate all future developments at The Nepo Center into the city’s heritage and cultural vibes.
“We don’t want to build structures that will block and destroy the beautiful view of the church,” explains Inah Dayrit, Brand and PR Strategist of JDN Sons Realty Group.
JDN also promises more activities that will promote Kapampangan and Angeleno culture in the future.
